Cup Hilt Rapier w/HEMA blade

from 650.00

This cup hilt rapier is built for HEMA work. The hilt is steel, as is the cup which is 18ga. with a rolled edge. The cup secures with screws and is notched to the crossguard. If you prefer a welded connection, that can be arranged.

The grip is deep red leather over PETG.

Weight is 2.46 lbs, POB is +4.25 from the quillions. If you like more blade presence I have several options for lighter pommels to draw the POB forward. The next lightest weight brings the weight to 2.37 lbs and the POB to +4.75.

The blade is by Dynamo Lugansk, made from 8mm stock with a diamond cross section and a nail tip. Good flex, but stiff.

Blade length is 41" from the quillions. Overall length of the sword is 45.5"

For an additional $100, I can provide an identical backup blade.
