Saxon Swept Hilt Sidesword -- [SHARP]
This sidesword is based on an antique piece listed as a “Saxon Heavy Sword” circa 1600. The bars have a complex cross-shaped cross section with round beaded details. I’ve done my best to reproduce it in laser-sintered stainless steel with an antiqued finish. The grip is PETG covered in steel wire. The ribbed pommel is threaded 6mm. It’s mounted with a sharp Kingston Armory sidesword blade.
Overall Length: 41.5”
Blade Length: 35”
POB: +3”
Weight: 3.1 lbs
The scabbard, also by Kingston Arms, is leather over a wood core with steel fittings.
