These halberds were developed for HEMA armored combat and unarmed technique practice — the heads are 3/16” thick 7075-T6 aluminum with a rounded edge. They are quite blunt, but not flexible. They are mounted on 68” hickory polehammer staves from Purpleheart Armory. The axe head design features a long “tang” which extends down a slot in the haft.
