A rapier with a later-period transitional hilt style. The main hand protection comes from a bi-lobate pierced plate. Symmetrical pierced side bars provide additional defense. The pattern of the pierced plate is taken from an original piece, but the rest of the design is not.
The hilt is mild steel. The grip is solid PETG covered in black leather bound with steel wire. The etched pommel is partially hollow to reduce weight, and secures with a 6mm pommel nut.
It’s mounted with a Castille rapier blade for HEMA.
