This hilt is formed of delicate hexagonal bars that make up a symmetrical 5-ring design with an etched plate covering the top rings. The guard plate secures with screws.
The guard is laser sintered 316L Stainless steel, blued to a dark finish. The pommel is threaded 6mm. The grip is PETG covered in brown leather and bound with black wire and turks head knots.
I re-ground the sharp 39” blade from a HEMA blunt by Arms & Armor. The result is cut-focued blade with a diamond section forte that flattens out into a hexagonal cross section mid-blade.
The scabbard is leather over a wood core with steel fittings.
Overall weight is 3 lbs, and the POB is +4" in front of the quillions. The sword is 46" long overall.
