This rapier was designed to match weapons described in Thibault’s treatise. There are two rings on the outside of the guard, and crossing swept bars on the counterguard. The stacked rings are reinforced with connecting bars. The slightly angled quillions are 10.25” wide and capped with a faceted bead detail. The guard is laser sintered 316L stainless steel. The grip is solid PETG covered in leather lace. The narrow pommel (also stainless) is threaded 6mm.
It’s mounted with a 38” Castille Armory Economy rapier blade for HEMA.
