This saber was built for HEMA fencing with a slightly enlarged version of a 1850 Foot Officer’s hilt, able to accommodate a fencing gauntlet. The guard and pommel cap are made in 316L stainless steel instead of cast brass. The grip is PETG covered in leather and bound with brass wire.
It’s mounted with a 20mm Italian Dueling Saber blade by Castille Armory.
The hilt secures with a pommel nut.
