This schiavona is designed for HEMA practice. The hilt is produced in laser-sintered 316L stainless steel from a 3D scan of one of my own hand-built hilts. It’s a little roomy to accommodate a leather gauntlet or similar hand protection.
It’s mounted with Malleus Martialis’ wide sidesword blade.
The grip is solid PETG covered in stingray-embossed cow leather and bound with steel wire. The pommel secures with a 6mm pommel nut.
