This sword hilt is based on an antique piece that Bill Grandy very generously lent me so that I could take measurements and make a pattern. Bill has a terrific writeup on his antique HERE, along with a ton of high quality photos.

The hilt is mild steel with a thumb ring, as per the original. The carved grip is wrapped in blue stingray skin and brass wire. The pommel is cast brass.

The hilt secures with a pommel nut threaded 6x1mm

It was supplied as a hilt only so the customer can commission a HEMA blade in their home country.
