This sword is built using the hilt from a Hanwei Revolutionary War Hanger mounted with a Hanwei Practical Rapier blade. With a bit of surgery and a new grip they go together to form quite a tidy spadroon for HEMA or Stage combat.

The hilt is steel. The pommel secures with a recessed hex-nut. The grip is solid PETG covered in navy blue faux-rayskin.

The scabbard is heavy leather with white brass fittings.

I’ve deliberately left the blade quite long (36.5”) and it can be trimmed to whatever length you prefer. The scabbard can also be adjusted to match the blade length. You can email me at info@jessebelsky.com or leave a note in the checkout comments with your preferred blade length.
