This is a cutlass leftover from an order of custom pirate weapons I did for Colorado Shakespeare Festival.  They ordered 6 swords and I made 2 spares.  This is one of the spares, but with a brand new hilt.   It has a super light 3/16” aluminum blade, a dished and carved steel guard and hardwood grip.  The finish on the edge is a little rough, but it looks great from a few feet away.  Its been sparred with, but I’ve refurbished the edge since.  Hilt is secured with a 3/8” recessed allen nut. For more information on this attachment method, CLICK HERE.
