These swords were commissioned as engagement gifts to be exchanged by the couple. Each cutlass sports one of their initials etched on a steel plate riveted to the front of the guard.
The hilts are from Cold Steel Backswords, and the blades are from Hanwei Revolutionary hangers. I combined the hilts and blades to create these basket hilted cutlasses.
Grips are carved wood covered in leather and bound with steel wire.
