The blade on this Hanger is 7075-T651 aluminum with a blunt stage edge.  It has a fairly wide single fuller which is a bit hard to see in the photos.  

The hilt is steel with an american chestnut grip.  The pommel cap is pinned to the grip with tiny round-head nails, and the hilt assembly is secured with a 5/16-18 pommel nut.  For more information on this attachment method, CLICK HERE.
