A hanger with an upturned shell guard. I commissioned the blade on this sword from Dynamo Lugansk, and they did a nice job meeting my specs but I spec'd it much to bulky. I reground it to improve the distal taper and took it from a flat grind to a hollow grind. Blade weight came down from 1.3 lbs to 1.16 lbs. Doesn't sound like a lot, but it made a big difference.
Grip is made from Paduak, hilt from steel.
29.5" overall with a 24" blade. POB is +4.
Overall weight is 1.7 lbs.
Pommel nut is threaded 6x1mm.
Scabbard is leather over a wood core with steel fittings.
