This hollow ground scimitar is made from 7075-T651 aluminum. The hilt is also constructed from solid aluminum (pinned together in layered construction). The grip section is wrapped in a very dark green/brown leather with a dark bronze decorative wire wrap. The hilt is secured with a 6mm recessed allen nut that attaches to a steel threaded rod imbedded in the aluminum tang. For more information on this attachment method, CLICK HERE.
