Stage Combat Basket Hilt

$0.00

The basket on this sword is not of my making—it’s pulled from a Hanwei Basket Hilted sword, and is made of stainless steel. I’ve mounted it here with a hugely modified Hanwei/Tinker Longsword blunt blade that’s been shortened and narrowed to a very lightweight 29”. The edge is blunt for stage combat or reenactment.

The blade has been etched with the motto of Clan Crawford.

The spiral carved PETG grip is covered in blue leather and bound with steel wire.

The grip is 4.5” long and the pommel secures with a recessed nut threaded 6x1mm metric.

The scabbard is a flexible core covered with blue leather and nickel plated brass fittings.

Weight: 3 lbs
Overall Length: 35”
Blade Length: 29”
POB: +2” from base of blade
