Scottish S-Hilt Basket 1
This basket hilted sword is of the S-Hilt variety. It’s mounted with a custom backsword blade from Dynamo Lugansk.
The hilt is lightly antiqued steel, blued and buffed back to a light gray. The PETG grip is covered in natural green rayskin and wound with twisted brass wire.
The blade is 32” long with a single fuller up the spine and a 7” back edge at the tip. This blade can be had either sharp or blunt. If you want it sharp, I’ll redo the edge grind. If you need a blunt, I’ll round the current square 2mm edge and make it safe for blade-on-blade contact.
The grip is 3.75” long and the pommel is threaded 3/8-16.
It’s fitted with a leather covered wood-core scabbard with steel mounts and some simple decorative tooling.
