HEMA Basket Hilt w/Interchangeable Blades

$0.00

This sword hilt is based on an antique piece c.1740, with the more complicated design elements simplified for HEMA durability. It’s mounted with two interchangeable blades—Castille’s Short Feder blade for broadsword practice, and their 18” Heavy Dagger blade for use as an Alehouse Dagger.

There’s a steel collar that fits the dagger tang and increase its size to match the Feder tang, so both blades can use the same hilt components.

The grip is wrapped in dark red stingray skin with brass and steel wire. There is a black leather pad to protect the hand.

The hilt secures with a pommel nut threaded 8mm.

Feder Mount Measurements:

Weight: 3.11 lbs
Blade Length: 32”
POB: +1” from base of blade
