This basket hilt is based on an antique sword from the Royal Welsh Fusilers company. I have provided a bare wood grip which another craftsperson will cover with repousse brasswork to replicate the grip in the original.
The sharp double-fullered backsword blade was made by Armour Class of Scotland. The scabbard is black leather over a wood core with brass fittings.
