Parrying Dagger Pair [HEMA]

$0.00

This pair of left-hand daggers was commissioned to match an antique which I was lucky enough to have with me as I was making them. The blades were made by Balefire Blades, and are intended for HEMA fencing.

The goal was to come as close as possible to the original size/weight/handling . My versions are slightly heaver, but this was intentional in order to make the guard furniture a bit more robust. We also chose to elongate the tiny grip just slightly, to 3”. The original weighs 0.58 lbs, and each of mine is 0.68 lbs.

The grips are PETG covered in brass and copper wire with copper turks head knots. The pommels are keyed to the tangs and secure with a 6mm pommel nut.
