This Schiavona’s basic design is taken from one antique, while the dimensions are based on a different antique piece. The detail has been simplified to make construction faster (and thus reduce the price). It’s mounted with a 36” Castille Short Feder Blade for HEMA.
The hilt is mild steel with a thumb ring. The grip is solid PETG covered in black leather. The pommel is cast brass.
The hilt secures with a pommel nut threaded 6 mm.
