This Schiavona’s basic design is taken from one antique, while the dimensions are based on a different antique piece. The detail has been simplified to make construction faster (and thus reduce the price). It’s mounted with a 38” Castille Short Feder Blade for HEMA.
The hilt is mild steel with a thumb ring. The grip is solid PETG covered in matte rubber. The pommel is bronze-infused stainless steel plated in gold.
The hilt secures with a pommel nut threaded 8 mm.
