This sword is based on an antique piece that Bill Grandy very generously lent me so that I could take measurements and make a pattern. Bill has a terrific writeup on his antique HERE, along with a ton of high quality photos.
It’s mounted with a beautifully ground sharp blade by Malleus Martialis.
The guard is mild steel with a thumb ring, as per the original. The carved grip is wrapped in white stingray skin and brass wire. The pommel is cast brass.
The hilt secures with a pommel nut threaded 6x1mm
