This basket hilted sword sports a Castille Short Feder Blade mounted on a hilt taken from an Indian-made wallhanger which I’ve reshaped to make functional. Unlike many reproduction baskets, the overall size and proportion of this one is quite well done—only the shaping of the bars where the grip meets the hilt was done without regard for the ergonomics of the human hand. With that corrected, it’s quite comfortable.

The grip is solid PETG bound with leather and wire. The pommel secures with an 8mm nut.
