This sword design is inspired by the weapons in the film First Knight starring Sean Connery and Richard Gere. King Arthur and his knights all wield distinctive single-handed broadswords—I’ve adapted the hilt design to a bastard sword format using the Hanwei/Tinker sharp bastard sword blade.

The guard and pommel are stainless steel. The large crosses on the pommel’s faces are filled with deep blue resin. It’s topped with a crown-shaped pommel nut. The hilt secures with a 6mm nut. The grip is solid PETG covered in black leather and bound with braided wire.
