This sword design is inspired by the weapons in the film First Knight starring Sean Connery and Richard Gere. King Arthur and his knights all wield distinctive single-handed broadswords. This piece is specifically based on King Arthur’s sword, which sported a silver wire wrapped grip and a distinctive crown-shaped pommel nut/peen block.

The guard is 7075-T6 aluminum, as is the blunt blade. The pommel is stainless steel. The large crosses on the pommel’s faces are filled with deep blue resin. The hilt secures with a 6mm nut. The grip is solid PETG covered in black leather and bound with braided wire.
