These hilt fittings are designed and modeled by Mike Jia and 3D printed in metal using Direct Metal Laser Sintering.

-The parts are available in a less expensive 316L Stainless steel, or the tougher but more expensive 17-4PH Stainless Steel. The 17-4PH versions also receive heat treatment to increase hardness and strength.

-This guard is designed to fit the sharp or blunt Hanwei/Tinker Longsword blade, although some tang or fitting modifications may be necessary to achieve a good fit.

-The crossguard casting is solid steel. The 316L version is plenty strong for sharps or weapons not intended for heavy use, but only the 17-4PH version is recommended for HEMA-level abuse.

-These are printed-to-order and ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR IMMEDIATE SHIPPING. The lead time is usually only 3-6 weeks.

These fittings are available in polished steel or with a chemical blued finish. If you are interested in having them electroplated in brass, gold or silver contact me for lead time and pricing.
