This is a big axe. It has a polished 1/4" thick 7075-T6 Aluminum blade riveted between decorative steel plates on a steel eye. Despite being Aluminum, it's not what you would call lightweight. The haft is ash wood, with decorative tacks and a bit of leather wrap.
