This enormous axe was inspired by the weapon wielded by Silas in Highlander: The Series (designed by F. Braun McAsh). The axe blade is 16.5” tall and is made of 1/4” thick 7075-T6 aluminum. The octagonal haft is stained hickory. The whole axe is 5’-6” tall. The blade has been distressed with nicks and dents, and then given a coat of painted glaze to replicate an antiqued finish.
