This sword was commissioned by the groom to wear at his wedding. The design was created from an initial concept sketch he provided, and after a good bit of development, this is the result. The blade is 7075-T6 aluminum with epoxy-filled etching running it’s full length. The faceted hilt is steel and brass with a black leather covered grip bound in brass wire. Each face of the guard is set with a faceted teardrop sapphire (lab grown).
