Flamberge Scottish Basket Hilt

$0.00

This sword is based on an antique piece (see final pictures in the gallery). The slender flamberge broadsword blade was made by Javier Sole of Ancient Forge. I added the thin fullers and etching.

The hilt is mild steel with an antiqued finish. The grip is covered in natural green rayskin with nickel silver floral patterned ferrules and twisted steel wire.

Like the original, the blade is etched with a spurious “ANDRAE FERARE” mark.

The scabbard is wood covered in tooled brown leather with steel fittings.

Weight: 2.9 lbs
Overall Length: 38”
Blade Length: 32.5
POB: +3.5” from base of blade
