Scottish S-Hilt Basket 3

$0.00

This S-hilt is based on a lovely replica by Erik Stevenson rather than an original antique piece. It’s mounted with a custom-etched backsword blade that began it’s life as a Windlass Eglington Basket Hilt.

The hilt is steel. The PETG grip is covered in natural green rayskin and wound with twisted steel wire bound with steel ferrules.

The single edged blade is 33” long with one broad fuller and one narrow fuller on each side. Both sides are etched with spurious “Andrea Farara” markings interspersed with Orb & Cross symbols.

The grip is 4.25” long and the pommel secures with a 6mm nut.

The leather scabbard with steel fittings is also by Windlass.

Weight: 3.6 lbs
Overall Length: 39”
Blade Length: 32”
POB: +3” from base of blade
