This is a Hanwei basket mounted on a Darkwood Hanger blade. It makes for a robust HEMA trainer for Highland Broadsword or similar. The Darkwood blade is 30” long with a fuller. The hilt is the one that comes on Hanwei’s practical basket hilt, and the grip is leather over wood with steel ferrules. A leather pad provides for a little additional comfort.
