This commissioned bastard sword was inspired by the cover art for Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas. The cover illustration is by Marci Caruso. On my interpretation the steel guard and pommel are deeply etched with Celtic knotwork and electroplated in brass. The pommel sports huge 30 mm faceted glass cabochons on each side.

The blunt steel blade was made by Castille Armory. It sports etching up and down both sides of the blade.

The grip is solid PETG covered in black leather and bound with brass wire. The mid-grip ring is etched brass.
