A customer asked me to make a blunt sword that mirrored the dimensions and handling of their Albion Mercenary to be used in HEMA drilling (not sparring). This “Mercenary analog” is mounted with the Hanwei/Tinker bastard blade, which is a good match in terms of size and dynamics. The guard is by Mike Jia, the pommel from Darksword. The grip is solid PETG wrapped in Maroon leather. The hilt secures with a recessed barrel nut.
