Zurich Bastard Sword

$0.00

This is a hand-and-a-half broadsword with stainless steel fittings by Mike Jia. The fittings were based on the same sword in The Landesmuseum in Zurich that inspired the Albion Viceroy.

The blade is a steel Hanwei/Tinker bastard blunt blade, and the grip is hardwood with a full leather wrap plus a half wrap of twisted steel wire secured with brass tacks. The hilt secures with a 6mm allen nut.

Some stats:
Weight is 2.3 lbs
Blade is 33.5"
Sword is 43" OA
POB is +6"

Tip is currently squarish for HEMA, but it can easily be made pointy looking for stage work.

If you would prefer a sharp blade, this could be remounted with a Hanwei/Tinker sharp bastard blade.
