I built this complex hilt on top of a Printed Armory Resilaufer guard and pommel. The commissioner requested a left-handed hilt with substantial hand protection but no knucklebow. The end of the hand-guard attaches to the pommel with a screw.
The hilt fits two interchangeable blades by Balefire Blades. One is a longsword blade, and the other a Swiss Saber style blade. Both are made with thick 8mm stock but ground to meet SCA flex standards.
The grip is solid PETG covered in black leather. The pommel secures with a 6mm pommel nut.
