Transitional Rapier with Pierced Plate

$0.00

This transitional rapier is only partially based on an antique piece. The pierced dish hilt is entirely invented.

Both hilt and pommel are mild steel. The dish hilt secures to the arms of the guard with two stout screws. The blade is a 36" Diamond Schlager made for me by Dynamo Lugansk. It is fairly lean, but quite rigid with a nice taper. The grip is solid PETG wrapped in leather and twisted steel wire. The pommel is threaded 6x1mm.

Overall weight is 2.25 lbs, and the POB is 1” in front of the guard. The sword is 42" long overall.
