Dish Hilt Rapier

$0.00

A later period transitional rapier mounted with a 36” diamond schlager blade. The blade in the red-background photos is a Hanwei Practice Rapier Blade, which can be substituted at your request. The original I based it on is purportedly mid 17th century Dutch.  My interpretation is 40.5” overall and weighs 2 lbs.  It balances about 1.25” above the guard.  The hilt is steel with a pierced steel plate guard secured with 4 screws.  The grip is spiral carved delrin wrapped in black leather and gold colored twisted wire. The pommel is threaded 6mm metric.
