This rapier was commissioned as an anniversary gift.
The asymmetrical hilt features a teardrop-shaped Alexandrite stone suspended in steel vinework rings. The wheel pommel sports round Alexandrite stones set in brass and surrounded by etched and painted pomegranite flowers and a faux-gilded vine border.
The sharp rapier blade (by Darkwood Armory) is etched and faux-gilded with more vine elements. The leather grip is bound with brass wire with brass ferrules.
The scabbard is leather over a flexible core with nickel silver scabbard fittings. The scabbard is rigged to a decorative steel belt clip.
