This sword was commissioned as an engagement token and combines his preference for Art Deco style design and her taste in a more natural aesthetic. The symmetrical steel guard is done with sweeping vine-like elements, while the etched brass side plates, pommel, and faux-gilded blade etching reference Art Deco design ideas.
The sword is mounted with a broad sidesword-style blade (by Kingston Arms). The grip is PETG covered in leather and bound with brass wire and brass ferrules. The pommel secures with a 6mm pommel nut.
The scabbard is leather over fiberglass with steel fittings, also by Kingston Arms.
