This rapier was commissioned as a cake cutting sword. The hilt is steel, the blade is 7075-T6 aluminum (ground quite thin to improve it’s cake cutting abilities over a normal blunt aluminum blade). The pommel is etched on both faces with a fox design. A vine detail is etched down each side of the blade. The grip is covered in green leather with nickel silver ferrules. The package is completed with a flex-core scabbard covered in green leather.
