Golden Rose Rapier -- [BLUNT]
Golden Rose Rapier -- [BLUNT]
This sword was commissioned by the bride so that she and her fiancee could exchange swords at their wedding instead of rings. This one is for her, and he will receive his Naval Officer’s ceremonial sword. Sounds like an excellent match being made!
The rapier hilt is brass-plated steel with a selection of small stones set in bezels amongst the interwoven elements of the guard. The vines and stones mimic the design of the bride’s engagement ring.
The guard is ambidextrous and features stones on both sides. The gip is covered in red leather bound with brass wire with brass ferrules. The original version of this rose shaped pommel was modeled by Nora L.
The blade is a modified Hanwei Practice Rapier blade with faux-gilded leaf etching extending up its length.
The scabbard has a flexible core covered in dark red leather with brass hardware.
Pommel secures with a recessed hex nut.
