This sword was commissioned by the bride and groom to celebrate their wedding day and their future together.
The symmetrical hilt features two teardrop-shaped Aventurine cabochons suspended in steel vinework rings. The outer rings of the guard are covered in 3-dimensional brass leaves. The wheel pommel sports a monogram, and the wide blade is etched and faux-gilded with more vine elements. The leather grip is bound with brass leaves and decorative brass ferrules.
The scabbard is leather over a flexible core with nickel silver scabbard fittings which are etched with the couple’s names and wedding date (obscured for privacy). The scabbard is rigged to a decorative steel belt clip and hangs from a tooled belt of green leather.
