This rapier was inspired by the Sword of Seiros from the video game Fire Emblem: Three Houses. In the game-related art the sword is ambiguously sized—sometimes it’s represented as a rapier-sized weapon, sometimes more of a longsword. My sword is proportioned like a short rapier or sidesword. It features a deeply etched steel hilt and a custom flamberge blade by Castille Armoury. The grip is wire over PETG with brass ferrules. The etched scabbard furniture is nickel silver. The scabbard itself is leather over a wood core . The etched design on the blade is faux gilded in bronze.
