This fantasy rapier was a design collaboration between myself and the customer who ordered it. The hilt is steel with an etched aluminum blade. The package is completed by a matching scabbard, belt & belt hanger. Curly vine shapes tie all the components together.
The rapier is an ambidextrous design with a looping ring on each side. The grip is carved PETG covered in leather. The scabbard is leather over a flexible core, and has nickel-plated brass fittings. The scabbard hangs from a steel belt clip. The 3/16” thick 7075-T6 Aluminum blade is etched with a vine motif on both side. The hilt secures with a 6mm pommel nut.
