This pair of rapiers was commissioned by the couple to exchange on their wedding day. Each has it’s own character, but they are tied together with matching purple rayskin grips and their wedding date etched onto the ricassos.
Each is mounted with a blunt Hanwei rapier blade (one narrow, one wide), and polished to a high shine. The etching on the ricasso is faux-gilded, and a brass detail on each sword grip helps hold the color scheme together.
