This is a combat worthy rapier mounted with a Hanwei Practice Rapier Blade cut down from 43” to 38”. The ricasso has been modified significantly for an easier grip and more historically accurate shape. It is 44.5” overall, and weighs just under 2.5 lbs. It balances immediately above the guard. The pommel is threaded 6mm metric. The hilt is gun-blued steel with a pierced steel plate guard. The grip is maple wrapped in black and silver wire.
