Saxon Style HEMA Side-Sword with Counterguard

This HEMA Sidesword was inspired by a number of Saxon-style rapiers and military swords. The hilt is cold-blued steel featuring an outer loop guard and a rising counterguard that connects to a finger ring. It was specifically designed to be used with a ProGauntlet, which required a large outer ring.

It’s mounted with a 36” modified Hanwei Practice Rapier blade. The grip is solid PETG with with black leather and brass ferrules. The tang extends through the pommel and secures with a nut.
