This pair of rapiers was commissioned to match an antique left-hand dagger which I previously re-created in HEMA form. The identical hilts sport a sharp and HEMA version of the same blade design made by Balefire Blades.
Both blades are made from thick 8mm stock but have hollow-ground edges making them stiff but lightweight.
The hilts are steel and the grips are PETG covered in brass and copper wire with copper turks head knots. The pommels are keyed to the tangs and secure with a 6mm pommel nut.
